Travel and Accomodation
COMING TO GÖTTINGEN
Göttingen is situated in the middle of Germany and can easily be reached by car, train and long-distance busses. It is served by high-speed long-distance trains (ICEs), with direct connections existing, e.g. to Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Vienna. The highway A7 passes by Göttingen (two exits; Göttingen and Göttingen-Nord), and the major long-distance bus companies serve Göttingen; the bus stop is situated at the train station.
The closest airports are Kassel-Calden (approx. 60 km), Paderborn (approx. 130 km), Hanover (approx. 140 km), Erfurt (approx. 160 km), Frankfurt (approx. 240 km) and Hamburg (approx. 275 km).
ACCOMMODATION
We will provide accommodation (breakfast included) in the Hotel Eden for all workshop participants from the 31st July, 2022 (first day of the workshop) to 7th August, 2022 (day after the workshop). Participants will share a double room (please indicate on the application form if this is not possible for you).
VENUE
The Workshop will be held at the German Primate Center, Kellnerweg 4, 37077 Göttingen.
Getting to the Primate Center by Bus
The German Primate Center is approximately 25 minutes from Hotel Eden by bus. Two direct bus lines connect the hotel and the venue. Line 21 departs from bus stop Bürgerstraße, line 22 from bus stop Bürgerstraße (before 8 AM) and from bus stop Geismartor (after 8 AM). Please depart the bus at the bus stop "Kellnerweg". It is a three minute walk to the Main Entrance/Reception (follow the signs). At the bus stop, cross the road and walk in the in the direction of the bus. At the mailbox, turn left into the footpath and proceed to the end. Turn right into the Kellnerweg. The main entrance of the DPZ is on the left side.

Getting to the Primate Center by car
Leave the interstate A7 at exit "Göttingen Nord". Follow the B27 straight ahead in the direction of "Braunlage". After the third traffic light intersection turn right towards "Kliniken". Afterwards turn left onto "Robert-Koch-Straße" direction "Universität Nordbereich/Polizei". At the end of "Robert-Koch-Straße" turn right onto "Otto-Hahn-Straße", direction "Nikolausberg". The first street on the left turn onto "Kellnerweg", follow the signs "Deutsches Primatenzentrum".
Turn the first left for the parking lot.
